Meet the Speakers

“What is manhood? Manhood is doing hard things for God’s glory and the good of others.”

  • Owen Strachan is a theologian and author. The author of several books, he has published The War on Men, Christianity and Wokeness, and Reenchanting Humanity. Strachan is married to Bethany and is the father of three children. In his spare time, he enjoys family hiking, coaching basketball, and Western films.

You can follow him on his podcast Grace and Truth, X, and Instagram.

“You see, the reason that there’s so much darkness in our world today is because men are refusing to be strong and act like the man that God created them to be.”

  • Dr. Ethan Jago is the Lead Pastor at 5 Bridges Church. He and his wife, Dianne, have three children: Kaiden, Skye, and Cora. Ethan served in the U.S. Air Force as a SERE Specialist for 16 years until his call into full-time ministry. Following his career in the military, he served as the Young Adults Pastor at Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. Ethan feels honored and blessed to serve at 5 Bridges as he seeks to equip its members to grow in their knowledge and love for the Lord, in addition to helping them know why they believe what they believe.
